The general process flow for pole piece coating is as follows:
Unwinding → tab → traction → tension control → automatic deviation correction → coating → drying → automatic deviation correction → tension control → automatic deviation correction → winding
The coated substrate (metal foil) is discharged from the unwinding device and supplied to the coater. The first end of the substrate is connected to the tensioning device by the traction device after being connected into a continuous belt, and the tension adjusting device and the automatic correcting device are fed into the coating device after adjusting the tension of the film and the position of the film. The pole piece slurry is applied in sections of the coating apparatus in a predetermined coating amount and a blank length. When double coated, the first side coating and the blank length are automatically tracked for coating. The coated wet sheet is fed to a drying system for drying, and the drying temperature is set according to the coating speed and the coating thickness. After drying, the pole piece is subjected to tension adjustment and automatic correction, and is wound up for processing in the next step.
The key to the coater is to be stable. After a parameter is adjusted, it may last for a whole day. If there are any variables in the coating process, the impact on the battery performance will be great. Although the stability of the coater is important, the mastery of the operator is particularly critical. A good operator not only operates the equipment, knows how to maintain the equipment, but also knows what causes the problem when there is a problem in the coating process. What is the main reason for this problem? How to solve it. It is both a qualified operator and a good equipment maintenanceman.

3. The front and back are not aligned
(1) Operational aspect: the first side gap is consistent. The operating parameters are not adjusted well. The light eye is blocked. The unwinding pinch roller forgets the clip.
(2) Equipment: The tension behind the second side is large. The front tension is small.
4 When the middle is turned on, the white space becomes smaller, and the back 3-4 pieces are inaccurate.
Equipment: The tension is not allowed at the beginning of the start. The first side has no memory function. The foil strip slides forward 2-3mm when starting. The tension starts first when starting. The back roller does not turn. The coating head has no pinch roller or is not clamped.
